Role: You will be responsible for supporting their gas analysis products for their French customer base. This role will involve travelling to local, national and some international sites to deliver the level of service required by their global customers. The technologies supported will be a range of gas analysers and you will work on process systems, maintenance, commissioning and customer training. 

Skills: The ideal candidates will possess field service engineer skills gained in a similar environment. Candidates with a background (University, Third level or work experience) in engineering (chemical or electrical) and good understanding of physics, instrumentation and analytical skills will thrive. In addition you will need fluent French and English.

    <title>Experienced Class Surveyor – North of France</title>

						 <![CDATA[<ul><li><b>Region : North France</b></li></ul><p>Our client is a founding member of IACS (International Association of Classification Societies Ltd.) with worldwide operations. (mainly Brest and Le Havre) They provide Vessel Classification and Certification services to shipping companies located all over the world.

To cover their activities in northern France they are currently looking for an experienced Class Surveyor who will be responsible for the following:
•	Classification surveys of ships – ships in service mainly, but also some new building; 
•	Surveying various types of maritime equipment, machinery and cargo-handling equipment; 
•	Surveys and certification on behalf of public and governmental authorities; 
•	Reporting, communication and cooperation with clients, colleagues, authorities;
•	Contribute towards further development and growth for the company; 
•	Produce accurate and concise reports; 
•	Deal with clients' queries on a daily basis; 
•	Demonstrate a high level of effectiveness and commitment.

Candidate education and experience
•	Technical/maritime education at university level (Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering degree); 
•	Physically able to work in confined spaces, hazardous atmospheres, extreme temperatures and weather conditions, etc. and therefore being not suffering from allergies, vertigo, claustrophobia, etc.; 
•	Willing to travel frequently; 
•	Practical and theoretical knowledge of hull, machinery, materials, equipment and safety systems of ships. 
•	Professional experience 3/5 years as Class Surveyor is requested. Candidates without previous experience as Surveyors of Classification Societies will not be considered in this phase.

Personal skills and abilities: 
•	Native French and fluent English, both spoken and written; 
•	IT literate in MS Office; 
•	Good communication skills; 
•	Ability to work in a team and on tight schedules; 
•	Ability to manage conflicts and to negotiate; 
•	Pro-active customer focused approach;
